The Anthropology Student Association at the University of Maryland is a club for anthropology students at UMD to get together and discusses classes, receive professional advice, and bond over a mutual love of anthropology.
The anthropology major at UMD allows you to specialize in one of the following:
- Socio-cultural anthropology
- Biological Anthropology (including Environmental Anthropology)
We meet every other week. Our meetings include professional advice sessions, research presentations, academic and leadership opportunity discussions, and social events. It is a great environment for anthropology students to learn from each other, find out about job opportunities they wouldn’t know about otherwise, and find friends with the same interests.
